Acclaimed playwright and translator Timberlake Wertenbaker is to write a play for the National Youth Theatre inspired by Manor Garden Allotments – in collaboration with 6th form Drama students at Camden School For Girls.

The Olympic authorities backed down in the face of Judicial Review, and the allotments will be left largely intact until the end of September – though under highly restricted terms of access and usage.
